We provide infant and child sleep consulting. We work with you to provide assistance and direction throughout the sleep training process with your baby or toddler. Whether you need help finding an age-appropriate sleep schedule, or would like your child to sleep through the night, we can help your entire family get the sleep you deserve. Services are available nationwide. We do consultations at our office, as well as tele-consults online via video conferencing.

If you think that you may be suffering from sleep apnea, a Home Sleep Apnea Test (HSAT) is a convenient way to test for this condition in the comfort of your own home. We'll provide all of the equipment necessary and walk you through the process of setting it up.

1) Pick up device from office

2) Take test at home

3) Come in to discuss results

Breathing with a CPAP machine is different than breathing on your own and may take some time to adjust to. If you are having difficulty getting used to Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) treatment, or the mask or air pressure is making you feel claustrophobic or anxious, we offer CPAP therapy to optimize your treatment.

Child development and sleep can be difficult to separate. Lack of sleep in children can lead to behavioral problems, and children with special needs often tend to experience challenges with sleep. We care for children with autism, ADHD, genetic disorders, and other challenges to mental, social, emotional, and academic development. We also specialize in consulting and evaluating children in the process of international adoption.

We evaluate and coordinate care for:

  • Autism

  • ADHD

  • Cerebral palsy

  • Genetic disorders

  • Developmental delay

  • Intellectual disability

  • Other challenges to mental, social, emotional, or academic development

This care includes addressing specific sleep challenges that are common in children with special needs.

International adoption can be highly complex for families. Children growing up in orphanages overseas can develop psychological and health challenges that and parents may need additional help understanding and addressing. We provide consultations to parents in the pre-adoptive period – before traveling overseas to meet the child – and in the post-adoptive period – after the child has been welcomed into their new home.

Dr. Gary Feldman, MD

Dr. Robert Lebby, MD, FAASM, FCCP

Ocean Sleep Medicine was founded in July 2016 when Dr. Gary Feldman saw a need for a solution-based approach to sleep medicine and other behavioral and developmental challenges.

"We are so thankful to have found Ocean Sleep Medicine! Dr. Feldman came to our rescue. He is so kind, patient, easy to talk to, he gave us HOPE! He taught us methods for sleep training, walked us through each step patiently and after 3 days our little boy was sleeping thru the night. First night he slept 8 hours straight, second night he slept 12 hours!!!!

Today we have two amazing sleepers! They nap well, and sleep through the night! No rocking, no feeding, we simply lay them on their beds and they go to sleep by themselves!!"
